About
thirdparty.repair explains the repair industry - repair practice, parts, manufacturers, law, and refurbishment and resale - from the primary documents, including where a manufacturer's stated reasoning holds up.
It is published independently and without a byline, so that each post stands on its evidence rather than on who wrote it.
Every post lists its sources and keeps opinion apart from findings. How claims are checked is on the Method page, and every correction is dated on the Corrections page.
To report an error or get in touch, write to editor@thirdparty.repair.
